Daven Says

"Why do you have to sit down to go potty, mommy?"

"Because girls have to sit down on the potty to go. "

"But not daddy. "

"Right. Boys can stand up to go pee pee. "

I thought that this was an acceptable answer, but a few minutes later he shouted, "No you don't have sit down on the potty, mommy!  You need stand up!"

One of these days, I WILL potty alone again :)
